It's clean and the food is always freshly cooked and pretty good. I go there often for breakfast or brunch and everybody is always friendly and courteous. Just a good down-home place.

The Track is a great place for breakfast prior to an early morning round of golf in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area. Quick service; delicious breakfast. No frou-frou stuff. Good grits, salty country ham, fried eggs cooked any way you desire. Biscuits. Country sausage. Scrambled eggs, pancakes. All good. But don't just take my word for it. Find out for yourself. The biggest surprise: how little the price! Enjoy!!!

My Aunt & I have been several mornings on our way home from work.Hash browns,omelettes were really good.Ctry.Ham delicious.Wait staff courteous.Always had a good experience.

Good breakfast place.

DELICIOUS. This is my favorite breakfast place EVER. And we've lived quite a few places. It's totally down home, grandma's cooking deliciousness. They have always been incredibly accommodating to small kids! Servers are very friendly and make you feel like they've known you for years. Again - ITS DELICIOUS.

The local greasy spoon. Fast reliable food. Lots of weak coffee and excellent home made biscuits. Show up early.

Terrible service, terrible cheap food. Coffee is weak and burned. Pancakes are from a mix and taste of oil. Eggs are generic, most likely powdered, taste wise any way. Disgusting locale. Cement block vomit. Better food in a jail cell, as many of the patrons know.

Usually good service but very slow today. We had to get the servers' attention quite a few times. Also the sausage gravy has too much sage (for me). Generous portions of country ham. Good locals spot.

How do I answer this, giving the right impression? First of all, I love this place. Been having great breakfasts here for 20 years. It is a landmark located on the horse track in Pinehurst. From October to May you can watch trotters training on the track. The food is great. The menu, and more importantly, the recipes and owners have not changed in, probably 40 years. All that being said, it's a small concrete block building. It's noisy with talk and laughter. You have to walk THROUGH the kitchen to get to some of the tables. The staff is family. In short, it's not close to fancy, but it's close to my heart. Eat there when you're in Pinehurst and it will be close to your heart as well.

One of the Best Kept Secrets in Pinehurst. A real deal restaurant! You will Love it.

A good place for a plate of bacon and eggs during a horse show. It closes fairly early in the day, but otherwise it's always a good experience. This restaurant is especially helpful when yours trying to chase away the mandatory horse show hangover that normally sets in around 9 AM on the second day of the show.

Great option now that we no longer have the old standard "Mac's breakfast anytime", and better. Can't beat the price. Nice variety too.Oh, and they have the grilled biscuit as well.
